Instructional Designer
The public education system faces numerous challenges, with teacher quality at the forefront. From my perspective, the investment in teacher training is minimal, yet it's the cornerstone of transformative education. To develop a course aimed at deepening educators' grasp of pedagogy, andragogy, and the ADDIE model, I began with an analysis to pinpoint the specific needs and knowledge gaps of my target audience. This crucial first step was informative in creating precise learning objectives, which then guided me through the design phase where I developed my course outline, selected appropriate instructional strategies, and planned assessment methods. During the development phase, I created engaging and accessible content, including interactive activities, designed to facilitate the application of key concepts in real teaching scenarios. This structured approach ensured that my course effectively strengthened educators' teaching strategies, with an emphasis on practical application.
